Someone on the Shop board the other dayposted an interesting theory that I have *not*been able to shake from my mind --the notion that "Little Pad" may have been a fragmentfrom DYLW. I see it as highly plausible. Thoughts?—

You know...every one in a while I think this and say "OF COURSE!" Yet Ijust can't put my finger on what it is about the two songs...Now, what REALLY sticks out -- "Whistle In" and "Do You Like Worms" --mainly the fake Hawaiian lyrics at the end of DYLW and how they fit inwith the melody of "Whistle In."

They have a newfound (appropriated) calm. OR maybe it's appended beforehand -- "Sure would like to have a little pad in Hawaii" so off we go, steaming across the Sandwich Isles! That's cool -- I never thought of that! "Whistle In" is a perfect re-working of the keenee-waka-poolah part, yeah! Makes sense in light of Brian's other recyclings. (Don't get started on DO A LOT, heehee)

I see it as highly plausible.Same here I've been humming the songs to myself since I read the postbut something seems wrong while at the same time it seems right. Dunno but it a possibilty.
